| The Manatawny
Circa 1770
The clock that is historically the oldest, is the latest to be added to the Perkiomen Clock Co.'s collection. While the name Thomas Potts is engraved on the brass dial, it is generally believed that the well-known clockmaker Adam Brant build this clock. Shown here with a painted rocking ship dial, the clock is also available with a brass dial or moon dial. Pictured in cherry. It is also offered in walnut. The highly styled Philadelphia Chippendale has a dentiled swan neck pediment sitting upon fluted hood columns. Fluted quarter columns are also in the waist, as well as a fully raised tortoise shell in the base.
