Dominy Slant Front Desk
This plain, unadorned mahogony desk was originally made for John Lyon Gardiner, seventh proprietor of Gardiner's Island, NY in 1802 by Nathaniel Dominy V. Behind the slant front lid lies a simple gallery hiding 8 secret drawers. The beaded bracket foot is a Dominy family trademark.
