Tall Case Clocks

Years before The Perkiomen Clock Company was born, James S. Shott Cabinetmaking was well known for high quality furniture and custom cabinetry. When Jim wanted to build his first clock in 1994, he realized he would have to seek out the other artisans to supply him with the other components needed to assemble a clock.

David Lindow, clockmaker, who was at the time developing into the country's finest producer of handmade clock movements, came to Jim's attention. His movements are the only ones used in a Perkiomen Clock Company tall-case clock. David then introduced Jim to Angela Wendling-Piacine and Kathi Edwards, two of America's finest dial artists. Their dials are works of art. Potential clients work directly with Jim on the many details involved in creating their very own museum quality heirloom. Prices currently run from $8,000 to $20,000.
