Chester County Flat Top
Circa 1810
While the flat top case was built throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland, the greatest number seem to have come from the Chester County region and are attributed to the Quaker clockmakers. A raised base panel, ogee feet and fluted quarter columns are the extent of any decoration. Shown here in cherry, this clock would also look great in walnut or curly maple with a painted dial.
Height 92”
