The Newport #101
Circa 1790
Another John Townsend case, while not as elaborate as the Newport #100, this also is truly a wonderful clock. Pictured in mahogony, it has a plain base but still retains hand carved finials, waist done with carved shell and ogee bucket feet. This piece works well with either a brass or painted dial.
